Industrial Electrician is its own SkilledTradesBC compulsory Skilled Trades Certification trade — distinct from Construction Electrician, not a subtype of it. Industrial Electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, motors, and control equipment in industrial and manufacturing settings such as mills, mines, and processing plants. To legally perform this work in BC, a worker must be appropriately registered or certified under SkilledTradesBC requirements for the Industrial Electrician trade. Quantus connects BC industrial employers with certified Industrial Electricians and registered apprentices.

Industrial Electrician is a compulsory Skilled Trades Certification trade in BC — every industrial electrician must have an authorized SkilledTradesBC status, such as being a certified journeyperson, registered apprentice, or eligible experienced worker operating under a valid Temporary Authorization. Quantus will check each industrial electrician's certification against the SkilledTradesBC registry at onboarding, so employers hire on confirmed credentials, not claims.
In British Columbia, Industrial Electrician is one of SkilledTradesBC's 7 compulsory Skilled Trades Certification trades. A worker must have an authorized SkilledTradesBC status for this trade — such as being a certified journeyperson, registered apprentice, or eligible experienced worker operating under a valid Temporary Authorization — to legally perform this work. Quantus will verify trade certification against the SkilledTradesBC registry at tradesperson onboarding.
A nationally recognized endorsement showing a tradesperson has met the interprovincial Red Seal standard for the trade, helping facilitate recognition of their certification across Canada.
BC Certificate of Qualification issued by SkilledTradesBC. To perform this compulsory trade you must either hold this as a journeyperson, or be a registered apprentice (below) working under journeyperson supervision.
