What glaziers do in BC
Glaziers in BC cut, fit, and install glass in windows, doors, storefronts, curtain walls, and skylights. The Glazier trade is Red Seal designated in Canada. BC's booming commercial construction market drives strong demand for skilled glaziers. Quantus connects GCs and developers with experienced, insured glaziers ready to work on your next project.
We'll verify the credentials glaziers choose to hold
Certification is voluntary for glaziers in BC — many invest in it anyway. Quantus will verify the certifications, insurance, and WorkSafeBC coverage a glazier does hold at onboarding, so employers can tell verified credentials from claims. Note that voluntary status covers only the general trade — some specialized work can still carry its own separate, mandatory credential.
In British Columbia, certification for glaziers is voluntary — there's no legal requirement to hold a Certificate of Qualification or Red Seal to work as a glazier. Many do hold certification anyway. Quantus will verify whichever credentials a tradesperson holds at onboarding, so employers can tell confirmed credentials from claims.
A nationally recognized endorsement showing a tradesperson has met the interprovincial Red Seal standard for the trade, helping facilitate recognition of their certification across Canada.
