Quantus will check each steamfitter/pipefitter's certification against the SkilledTradesBC registry at onboarding, so employers hire on confirmed credentials, not claims.
In British Columbia, Steamfitter/Pipefitter is one of SkilledTradesBC's 7 compulsory Skilled Trades Certification trades. A worker must have an authorized SkilledTradesBC status, such as being a certified journeyperson, registered apprentice, or eligible experienced worker operating under a valid Temporary Authorization, to legally perform this work. Quantus will verify trade certification against the SkilledTradesBC registry at tradesperson onboarding.
A nationally recognized endorsement showing a tradesperson has met the interprovincial Red Seal standard for the trade, helping facilitate recognition of their certification across Canada.
BC Certificate of Qualification issued by SkilledTradesBC. To perform this compulsory trade you must either hold this as a journeyperson, or be a registered apprentice (below) working under journeyperson supervision.
